Setting Up Your New Textblast.io Account
You’re just a few easy steps away from connecting with your customers via direct SMS/MMS messaging campaigns!
Step 1: Register your business with 10DLC
Recent changes to regulations now require all businesses using text marketing to register with 10DLC. In a nutshell, you’ll need to provide some information before you can begin texting, including your EIN tax id number. Once you have created a textblast.io account, you will be prompted to provide all of the necessary information to submit for registration.
Step 2: Enter a Method of Payment | Purchase your Sending Number(s)
Textblast.io is a FREE platform. That being said, there are some pass through costs required to start texting. The first, as mentioned in the previous step, is to register your business with 10DLC. This requires a monthly fee of $10 which we pass along to you. You will also need to purchase a sending number or numbers (you may purchase up to 50 at one time). Each number is $2 / month. Lastly, you will need to load your account with funds to apply towards your text campaigns. Rather than a confusing credit system, we believe in pricing transparency. We charge a flat rate of $0.03 for SMS and $0.05 for MMS. You will pre load your textblast.io wallet with however much you want, and as you start sending campaigns, the balance of messages sent will be deducted from your wallet balance. There is no minimum requirement, and you can adjust your settings to auto reload your account to a pre determined amount if you like so you don’t have to think about reloading in the future.
